The City Museum

City Museum and Unesco World Heritage, Évora is a perfect destiny for a day off Lisbon (one hour and a half distance). Starting in the majestic square of Giraldo, we explore the most glittering attractions of the historical center, including the Roman Temple of Diana, the University launched by the Society of Jesus and the sordid Chapel of the Bones. On the way there is so much more to see, from the original popular architecture to the jewelry treasures and artistic golden carving that cover churches and museums. Évora is also the capital of the High Alentejo and not far from the splendid town of Monsaraz, roosted on top of the great Alqueva lake and the fine vineyards of Herdade do Esporão.
